Happy Birthday!

Hi Everyone! This is Alexis' Mom, aka Momma!

I am writing a guest post today for Alexis' Birthday!
She was born 27 years ago today on my Mom's Birthday.

Another year has passed for her, another year that I have spent with my Daughter and Best Friend.

Some of you have been here since the beginning of this Blog and have come to know her. Some of you have just begun to follow her journey.

May I say, even though I am a just a wee bit biased being her Momma, that you will never meet a kinder, sweeter, more hilarious person in your life. The meaning of her name is "Helper of man kind" and we couldn't have picked a better one for her.

Yes she has been knocked down more than most people could handle, but it only seems to fill her with more determination.

I look at her with so much pride as she dusts herself off and keeps going forward. I'm not so sure I could do the same if I were in her shoes. It is with the sweet, encouraging words from all of you that helps her through.

So today on this 20th day of January I wish you a Happy Birthday Alexis! I have always said since I could only have one, God gave me the best.
